1 / ENQUIRY
Touch base with us by filling in an online enquiry with as much detail as possible including your event date and venue, budget guide, Pinterest board and/or inspirational photos.
2 / COMMUNICATION + QUOTE
Minka Studio will ask for any additional information, confirm availability of your chosen date and provide a quote to you via email. This includes breakdown of pricing, mood board and plans.
3 / SOURCING
Researching and creating designs and sourcing locally where we can for all consumable items and sundries.
4 / PREPPING
Final design guide and event planning is completed up to 4 weeks prior to your event. Prepping and care for flowers, gather all consumable items and sundries and arrange styling elements and florals.
5 / ON THE DAY
Tools down! Execution of the event involves dropping off floral arrangements to the event/wedding venue as well as placing, styling and adjusting finishing touches before your entrance. Pack down commences once event concludes.

To keep flowers fresh, cut the stems on an angle a few centimetres from the base of the stem. Make sure there is no foliage below the water line. Replace vases with fresh water every 1-2 days. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heaters and air conditioner units.

Of course, Minka Studio will always ask for inspirational photos that you have sent in to use as a guideline. As flowers are a product of nature and always changing your arrangement will never be identical to the inspirational photos.

As flowers are seasonal, we will do our best to find the specific flower you are after. It may be that it needs to be imported, this then will cost extra. We will also offer other varieties of flowers that we think would suit your style and are at a similar cost.

Yes, we can amend a quote! If you need to make changes to your initial request—such as adjusting the types or quantities of flowers, or altering delivery details—please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll work with you to update your quote and ensure it meets your needs.

Yes, we work with you and the venues to allow time to bump in and out so there is appropriate amount of time for the team to be there. We do have to include these fees as venues usually close around 11pm-12am so the bump out would begin quite late.

Of course, you can, a photo can be sent through with measurements to ensure the right number of flowers are brought for the size of the vase. The vases will need to be dropped off to minka studio or a collection arranged to have the vases at the studio two weeks prior to the event. There will then be no vase hire fee.

We will work with you and the venue to have a wet weather plan finalised. We will do our best to preserve the flowers in water or shade before taking them out on a hot day.

This will cost an additional fee depending on the choice of flowers and arrangements.

Yes, you will keep all the flower arrangements that are made for your special day. If flowers are made into vases and taken home these will need to be dropped off to minka studio within two weeks. We will speak with you regarding bumping out from the venue and to include a drop off the flowers to another venue/house.

Minka studio suggests a minimum of 6-8 months but can easily work within a shorter timeframe. A deposit of 20% is to secure your booking. Changes can be made up to 4 weeks prior to your special day.
